About
FORCED: Slightly Better Edition is an indie action RPG and adventure title published by BetaDwarf, who also developed the game. Released on October 24, 2013, the experience centers around a single-player or co-op campaign designed for one to four players. The gameplay combines tactical arcade action with role-playing elements and puzzles within a fantasy gladiator school setting. Players assume the roles of slaves condemned to fight to the death while striving to win their freedom. The game supports both local and online co-op modes, allowing multiple users to connect via plugin controllers on a single computer. Four unique character classes are available, each offering very distinctive play styles for different approaches to combat and strategy. A Spirit Mentor named Balfus guides players through the campaign against monstrous foes and tricky puzzles. Success relies on skill-focused mechanics where all enemy attacks can be evaded if the player figures out the correct timing.
