Fran Bow is a creepy adventure game that tells the story of Fran, a young girl struggling with a mental disorder and an unfair destiny. The game was released on August 26, 2015, by Killmonday Games and developed by Killmonday Games. It features single-player gameplay.

The story follows Fran after she witnesses the gruesome and mysterious loss of her parents. She runs into the woods with her black cat, Mr. Midnight, a gift from her parents. After experiencing shock over the loss of her parents, Fran finds herself at Oswald Asylum, an oppressive mental institution for children. Mr. Midnight is nowhere to be found.

After dreaming about her beloved cat, Fran decides to escape the asylum to find him and return home to Aunt Grace, her only living relative. The main story takes approximately 8 hours to complete. If you include extras, the playtime increases to 9 hours. A completionist playthrough will take around 9 hours.
