With practice, players will be able to jump, swing, climb and fly. Great mysteries and a wonderful reward await those who reach the top of the mountain. The game was made by Bennett Foddy, who is also the publisher and developer. It was released on December 6, 2017. Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is an action game that can be played solo. Players will listen to philosophical observations about the problem at hand as they climb up an enormous mountain with nothing but a hammer and a pot. The main story takes approximately 6 hours to complete. Adding in extras will take around 8 hours. A completionist playthrough will take about 31 hours.
