About
Green Project is an indie simulation game published by Zerone Games and developed by Zerone Games along with Dawson Dewulf. The title was released on May 16, 2020, as a single-player experience set in a post-apocalyptic world where players must farm to survive. In the story, the protagonist wakes from a cryogenic sleep after three hundred years to find his home planet altered by a destructive fungal pandemic that has reduced humanity to scraps. He returns to Earth equipped with a protocolar pouch brief for the UASA and an 80s scout formation, facing the challenge of adapting or fading away in the dust. Players can choose to green their environment by planting trees and healing damaged nature to restore biodiversity necessary for survival. The game features an open world that allows exploration without loading screens, alongside mechanics for growing crops and raising animals. There is a day and night cycle present, and the experience includes more than 220 craftable items.
