About
Hard Time III is an indie action RPG and adventure simulation published by MDickie, with development also handled by the same studio. The game was released on September 9, 2024, and offers both single-player and co-op experiences for players looking to explore its prison setting. This title serves as the third installment in the series, building upon the original while incorporating elements from a two-dimensional predecessor. The gameplay focuses on tackling crime from either side of the prison fence within a larger world that extends beyond the facility boundaries. Players can utilize a wide variety of vehicles and interact with animals alongside hundreds of fully interactive props and weapons found throughout the environment. The combat system draws inspiration from wrestling mechanics and is enhanced by gunplay options available at any moment during gameplay. A creative crafting system allows players to generate new solutions when standard ammunition runs low, relying on their own ideas rather than inventory limits. Visuals have been updated with higher resolution and a smoother frame rate, supported by a wide variety of camera angles for different perspectives.
