About
Hellish Quart is an action title published and developed by Kubold that arrived on February 16, 2021. This physics-based sword fighting game takes place in 17th century Poland and utilizes motion-captured fencing techniques for its combat system. Players control four attack angles using four gamepad buttons to apply timing, technique, and speed against opponents. The experience includes single-player options alongside multi-player capabilities for local sessions. The game offers several modes including arcade play, quick fights, survival challenges, and duels against artificial intelligence. Users can select from a variety of warriors to engage in wooden weapons sparring or train with modern HEMA gear. An optional VR mode is available for those seeking an alternative way to experience the sword fighting mechanics. The text and dialogues within Early Access are translated to non-English languages by an automatic system.
