You play as a Hypnospace Enforcer who enlists in the Patrol Department to police the virtual streets while the corporatocracy sleeps. You will also need to avoid viruses and adware while downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful. Specific tasks include watching out for copyright infringement, internet bullying, and other transgressions committed by outlaws. In your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop with various downloads, wallpapers, screen savers, and helper bots. The main story takes approximately six hours to complete, while the main story plus extras extends to ten hours. Players aiming for a completionist run will spend about sixteen hours exploring hidden pages, downloads, and secrets. You can earn Hypnocoins by doing your job or choose to ignore your inbox to hunt for treasures instead. The game includes thirty-one accessibility features such as text-to-speech, one-button play, and navigation clarity.
