About
IMSCARED is a horror title developed and published by Ivan Zanotti's MyMadnessWorks that arrived on February 3, 2016. The game operates within the action, indie, adventure, and puzzle genres while offering a single-player experience. Players assume the role of a protagonist in a surreal first-person environment where they must locate keys and open doors. The primary objective involves searching for an exit to escape the nightmare presented in the game. The gameplay mechanics require players to find specific items like keys to progress through locked areas. However, the experience is designed to deceive the player repeatedly as they attempt to solve puzzles. A warning at the beginning of the game advises players to read the explanation carefully before proceeding. This section contains heavy themes such as suicide and loneliness, so player discretion is advised. The main story takes approximately one hour to complete, while including extras extends playtime to two hours. Becoming a completionist requires about three hours of total gameplay time. For any issues encountered during play, users can visit the official website at mymadnessworks.com/imscared. Community members may also join the developer's Discord server or the dedicated IMSCARED fan server for support.
