About
Killsquad is an action indie RPG published and developed by Novarama, released on October 21, 2021. The game combines twin-stick shooter mechanics with hack and slash elements while offering character customization and progression systems. Players can engage in single-player modes or team up with up to three friends for co-op experiences. The core gameplay revolves around short contracts that last between ten and twenty minutes, delivering an adrenaline-pumping pace. These missions allow players to choose their hero and equip skills, weapons, gears, and talismans to face waves of enemies and bosses. The experience takes place across five planets filled with adversaries ready to be annihilated. Controls are designed for frantic, direct, and skill-oriented play whether using a keyboard or gamepad. The title functions as both a top-down dungeon crawler and a sci-fi bullet hell depending on the approach taken. With a total playtime of sixteen hours including extras, the game offers a focused session length suitable for quick bursts of action.
