About

Land of War - The Beginning is an action and adventure title published by MS GAMES SP. Z O.O. with development handled by MS Games. The game was released on June 10, 2021, and offers a single-player experience focused on the start of World War II in Poland. Players assume the role of a soldier facing numerous battles against the fast-advancing German war machine during September 1939. Combat options include fighting on foot, driving armored vehicles, or flying an airplane while using weapons not found in other games. The production aims to evoke a nostalgic climate similar to Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Call of Duty. The title holds the distinction of being the world's first first-person shooter fully dedicated to the outbreak of WWII in Poland. It portrays the opening episodes and battles fought by Poles during the German invasion, filling a gap left by earlier video games. This early-stage war was completely omitted from previous titles until this debut production from an independent development studio. The game can be viewed as a prologue for other World War II-related games released recently. A free additional DLC weapon, the Degtyaryov PPD-30, is available through the Addons menu. The main story length is approximately four hours, while the completionist playtime extends to six hours. The extra content duration listed is zero hours. This factual reference covers only the provided information regarding the game's scope and release details.
