Littlewood is an indie adventure RPG developed by Sean Young and published by SmashGames, released on August 4, 2020. This single-player simulation game takes place in the world of Solemn after the Dark Wizard has been defeated. Although peace has returned to the region, the player cannot fully recall the cost of that victory or their own past memories. The setting includes various locations such as enchanted forests, bustling fishing towns, and dark mining caves for exploration. Players can customize their town by unlocking new structures like taverns, lumber mills, fishing huts, and magical libraries through interactions with townsfolk. Gathering materials involves chopping wood, mining ores, catching bugs, and fishing in rivers and ponds to support construction efforts. Farming allows players to plant seeds in tilled soil to grow vegetables that serve as ingredients for cooking recipes. These resources can be sold at the shopping district or used to craft decorative monuments and furniture for homes. The game features several hobbies including woodcutting, bug catching, fishing, farming, cooking, crafting, merchanting, and collecting tarott cards. Cooking becomes available once the tavern is built and the player has befriended Bubsy to prepare meals for townsfolk. Merchanting involves selling items to earn Dewdrops, the main currency of Solemn, while better merchants unlock rarer items to purchase. Tarott cards contain monsters sealed away after the Dark Wizard's defeat and are used in annual competitions held in Dirboros. Several characters join the player, including Willow who helps rebuild Littlewood with her tool skills, Dalton who enjoys adventures and shopping despite his forgetfulness, and Lilith a wizard from Alexandria's Magical Academy who creates potions.
