Loopmancer is an indie action RPG and adventure title developed by eBrain Studio and published by Xu. The game launched on July 13, 2022, offering a single-player experience set in a cyberpunk universe featuring realistic graphics. Players assume the role of Xiang Zixu, a private eye who returns to life following an unexpected death caused while investigating a journalist's disappearance. The narrative unfolds in a futuristic eastern city where neuro-comp interfaces and bionic prosthetics are standard parts of daily life. Despite societal advancement, a significant divide exists between the wealthy and the poor within this developed world. The protagonist immediately receives a new case from his agency colleague right after waking up in his apartment. The game includes seven large stages with eye-pleasing designs that reflect the cyberpunk aesthetic of eastern cities. Locations range from Dragon Town, which features holiday spirit during the evening, to the bleak and gloomy Shuigou Village.
