About
Marfusha is an action indie title published and developed by hinyari9 that arrived on August 26, 2021. This single-player experience features simple controls designed for a high-tempo shooting gameplay loop. Players take on the role of a guard in a dystopian world tasked with defending border gates against incoming enemies. The core mechanic involves upgrading your character by purchasing cards using a heavily-taxed salary to handle increasingly powerful foes. The game offers eight distinct character types, each providing different options for building your defense strategy. You can acquire various card types including weapons, characters, power-ups, and chance events to customize your approach. A score attack ranking system is included to measure performance during these defensive missions. The main story runs for approximately one hour, while the full experience with extras extends to four hours. Completing all aspects of the game requires about ten hours of playtime.
