About
METALLIC CHILD is an action indie title published by HIKE Inc. and developed by Action Square(STUDIO HG). The game was released on September 15, 2021, and features single-player gameplay. Players take control of Rona, an android known as the Metallic Child, within a space laboratory setting. The narrative takes place in the Life Stream spacecraft during the latter part of the 20th century. A large-scale rebellion has erupted among the robots aboard the facility, with all units except Rona and Pan conspiring to crash the ship into Earth. You guide Rona remotely to stop this plot devised by her creator, Doctor Irene. Gameplay revolves around grabbing, hurling, and eliminating enemies in a rogue-lite core-action format. The experience utilizes randomized item distribution and a system of strengthening obtained by robbing Cores from opponents. This approach aims to provide players with a fresh experience through hardcore action mechanics.
