About
My Recycling Center is an indie simulation game published and developed by Darius Bode, released on February 1, 2024. Players operate a recycling facility in a first-person perspective where they manage unloading, sorting, and compacting waste. The experience allows users to configure their yard using various management tools to suit their preferences. You can purchase new containers and paint them while earning cash and satisfaction points to unlock additional trash types. The game features randomly generated customers and trash objects alongside authentic animations of garbage compactors. Real-time destruction physics handle the fragmentation of bulky waste during compaction. The simulation includes realistic containers and machines designed for different categories such as waste paper, recyclables, scrap metal, and bulky trash. There are almost 450 distinct trash objects spread across 12 types that can be sorted using carts or barrows. Upgrades for machinery can be bought to improve operations within the single-player environment.
