She journeys to explore a distant world while collecting samples of mystic natural beauties on her quest to gather knowledge. Everything is peaceful in this setting, as war is described as a thing of the distant past. However, a tale of dissonant magic spreads in the shadows, instilling corruption into broken hearts. Players can play with magic by combining powerful spells, changing their shapes, and enhancing them to defeat enemies. Magic can also be used on the environment to make it resonate with creativity. As a member of the order, the role of an archivist is to gather knowledge because learning about the world makes the player stronger. The game allows users to explore a rich world including the Ancestral Forest, the Blue Desert, and the Sunken Caves. Inhabitants of these new lands can be met while observing the beauty of flora blooming in diverse biomes. Critters roaming on the path are intriguing but dangerous creatures loom over the journey. Players step into a fascinating story with multiple faces that have left their mark on these lands. People can be met and their tales listened to while cataloging mysterious occurrences. This process helps unravel the secrets behind dissonant magic. The entire game is played solely with a keyboard for puzzles, dialogues, combats, and menus. All keys are re-bindable to support various layouts such as Qwerty, Azerty, Qwertz, Dvorak, Colemak, and BÉPO. The game supports eleven different languages allowing players to create their own Nanotale experience. Users can choose to have the tutorial and story in one language while selecting another for gameplay and typable elements. The main story length is approximately five hours to complete. Adding extras extends the playtime to seven hours total. A completionist run takes about nine hours to finish.
