About
New kind of adventure is a title published by Back To Basics Gaming and developed by Mint Age Studios, released on June 4, 2015. This indie RPG blends adventure elements into a single-player experience where players control Mary in a three-dimensional setting. The narrative begins with Mary hiding in a wardrobe following an argument between her parents before she falls asleep. Upon waking, she finds herself in a magical world filled with giant strawberries and druids instead of her home. Mary teams up with her new friend Aquarius to solve puzzles and complete quests while trying to return to the real world. Players can use Mary's newly discovered powers alongside Aquarius' magical abilities to progress through the story. Gathering artefacts allows players to unlock additional magical powers and abilities throughout their journey. The game features a huge vibrant world populated by colourful wildlife and diverse environments for exploration. Economy mechanics let players gather items and resources to trade with the druids they encounter during gameplay. An original folk jam soundtrack accompanies the action as players navigate this fantastical setting. The main story takes approximately two hours to complete according to available data.
