About
NIMRODS is an action, indie, adventure, RPG, and casual title published and developed by Fiveamp. The game was released on October 28, 2024, as a single-player experience set in a vast alien world. Players take on the role of cloned testing force members tasked with evaluating new gun technology. Your primary mission involves scavenging these inhospitable planets to gather insane weapon parts. These collected components allow you to invent crazy guns capable of slaying thousands of enemies. The gameplay focuses on surviving as an expendable unit designed solely for testing devastating weaponry. You can collect and deploy guns crafted from previous runs using drones to assist the next grunt. This mechanic ensures that your past builds serve as backups rather than just memories. Each run presents a distinct story where every gun becomes a heroic saga within the roguelite format. The environment features diverse alien biomes meticulously molded by specific sets of enemies and bosses. Every corner of these biomes teems with specialized encounters and valuable resources waiting to be discovered. You will face various challenges while testing the most over-the-top and absurd weaponry known to the galaxy. The ultimate goal is to leave a legacy through the guns you craft during your journey.
