About
30XX is an indie action title developed and published by Batterystaple Games that launched on August 9, 2023. The game blends precise platforming mechanics with combat elements in a roguelike structure where players can choose to play alone or with a friend. You will explore lush worlds that change over time while fighting fearsome Guardians and mastering unique Powers. The experience combines the fluid movement found in classic action platformers with the replayability of modern roguelikes like Enter the Gungeon and Dead Cells. Players awaken a thousand years after 20XX to find a world altered by the Synthetic Mind and a humanity that has lost its drive to explore space. The setting is described as a verdant prison where you must fight to save what remains of civilization. The main story takes approximately two hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to another two hours. A completionist run requires about forty-one hours of gameplay. The game features characters with fully distinct playstyles designed for pulse-pounding action and beautiful sprite work.
