About
Angeline Era is an indie action-adventure title published and developed by Analgesic Productions, releasing on December 7, 2025. Players can explore a vast country in this nonlinear 3D game where every level is hidden in plain sight. The world features Fae, Humans, and Angels living together within the nation of Era. You decide what you discover next as you travel an unmarked overworld searching for fights or mysterious landscapes. The single-player experience follows wandering ex-soldier Tets Kinoshta as he allies with the Angel Arkas Gemini. Together they attempt to breach a fierce storm guarding Throne, which is the Angel's crashed mothership that lays dormant. To reach this destination, you must explore trap-filled ruins, primordial forests, treacherous mountains, and mines. The narrative presents a tale of betrayal, haunting lore, and fruitless yearning while you overcome intense battles and hazards. Combat relies on intuitive Bumpslash mechanics where walking into enemies triggers an attack without needing a button press. You can mix up fights using subweapons and a gun before visiting towns to shop for items. Beating levels rewards you with Scales that allow you to level up your character. The game offers low-difficulty settings for beginners alongside nightmarish options for those seeking a greater challenge. Developers Melos and Marina, known for Anodyne 2 and Sephonie, created this title which includes plenty of distinct levels. Each area provides glimpses into the lives of the various races inhabiting the country. The experience runs between 20 and 30 hours depending on how much of the world you choose to explore.
