About
Bladed Fury is an action RPG developed and published by NEXT Studios that arrived on December 17, 2018. The game falls within the indie, adventure, and casual categories while offering a single-player experience. Its setting takes place in Ancient China, where players engage with traditional art styles and sound design. The narrative follows Ji, a younger princess exiled after her uncle Tian killed Duke Kang of Qi during the Warring States Period. She seeks justice but faces repeated failures before encountering deities such as Hou Yi and Jingwei. These figures assist her in gaining powers known as Soul Slivers to return to the Palace. The story incorporates Chinese history, mythology, and elements of surrealism into its fantasy world. Players can expect a main story that lasts approximately three hours when focusing solely on the primary plot. Adding extra content extends the gameplay duration to about four hours for those seeking more than just the main narrative. Completing all aspects of the game requires roughly seven hours of playtime. The experience features fluid combat and unique artistic elements with mysterious Chinese themes throughout.
