About
Blades of Time, developed and published by Gaijin Entertainment, is an action fantasy adventure RPG released on April 20, 2012. The game offers both single-player and co-op multi-player modes for players to enjoy. Ayumi serves as the main character in this title, acting as a treasure hunter who wields guns and swords. The narrative takes place on an ancient island where players can find abundant treasures alongside the magic of Chaos. This environment is also home to numerous bloodthirsty monsters that challenge the protagonist. The world features diverse landscapes ranging from snowy valleys and dense jungles to ancient cities, temples, and sky islands. Ayumi possesses a special ability to rewind time, which assists in solving puzzles and fighting large groups of enemies. She can also speed up her movements to catch up with foes or escape pursuers while exploring the unique terrain. Combat involves mastering over 40 different combo attacks and spells from various magic schools. Throughout the journey, players encounter many characters who are described as cuddly, funny, and mysterious. These interactions contribute to the overall story of Ayumi's risky adventures on the island. The main story lasts approximately nine hours, while completing all extras extends playtime to ten hours. A full completionist run requires about fifteen hours to finish.
