About
Defunct is an indie adventure game published by SOEDESCO and developed by Freshly Squeezed. The title was released on January 29, 2016, and falls within the racing, indie, and adventure genres. This single-player experience centers on a broken robot that accidentally falls from a giant cargo ship onto a post-human Earth inhabited by other robots. The main objective is to return to your ship before it is too late. You are equipped with a Gravitize engine that creates a separate gravity field around yourself. Using this ability in downhills accelerates your movement, while using it uphill slows you down. The world contains various speed boosts such as Enerjuice, which can be picked up to increase velocity. These tools allow you to drive through the environment, meet strange robots, fly through junkyards, and boost toward your ship. The main story takes approximately one hour to complete. Adding extras extends the playtime to about two hours. A completionist run requires roughly six hours to finish all content.Read moreShow less
