About
FINAL FANTASY IX was published by Square Enix and developed by Square Enix. It was released on April 14, 2016. The game is an RPG and Adventure title that can be played solo. FINAL FANTASY IX has sold over five million copies since its initial release in 2000. Zidane and the Tantalus Theater Troupe kidnap Princess Garnet, the heir of Alexandria. Unexpectedly, Princess Garnet desires to leave the castle. Due to a series of unusual events, she and her personal guard, Steiner, join Zidane on an extraordinary journey. They encounter memorable characters like Vivi and Quina along the way. Together, they uncover truths about themselves, the Crystal's secrets, and a dangerous force that threatens their world. Players can learn new abilities by equipping items. Once mastered, these abilities can be used even without equipped items, offering extensive customization options. During battles, filling your Trance gauge after sustaining hits allows characters to enter Trance mode, granting them powerful new skills. The Synthesis feature lets players combine two items or equipment pieces to create stronger ones. There are various minigames available, such as Chocobo Hot and Cold, Jump Rope, and Tetra Master. These can be enjoyed outside of the main story and offer special item rewards. Additional features include achievements, seven game boosters (including high speed and no encounter modes), autosave functionality, and high-definition movies and character models. The main story takes approximately 38 hours to complete. The main story plus extras will take around 53 hours. Achieving a completionist playthrough requires approximately 83 hours.
