About
Gravity Circuit is an indie action platformer developed by Domesticated Ant Games and published by PID Games. The game was released on July 13, 2023, as a single-player campaign featuring combat mechanics reminiscent of console classics from the 80s and 90s. Players control Kai, a lone operative who harnesses the powers of the mysterious Gravity Circuit to defend a world populated by sentient robots. The narrative follows Kai as he faces the re-emerged Virus Army, which seeks complete world domination after being defeated decades ago. The main story runs for approximately five hours, while including extras extends playtime to six hours. Completionist runs can take up to eleven hours as players explore futuristic environments and uncover secrets within each stage. Combat involves channeling power into fists to perform combos or using grapple abilities to get close to enemies. Each of the twelve stages presents unique mechanics that test platforming and combat skills against an armada of foes and bosses. Rescuing innocent civilians found in levels allows players to unlock new powers for further progression. The game offers a direct experience where action is dialed to maximum, letting players send flying enemies or cause destruction through satisfying punches. This title serves as the last line of defense against the evil mastermind orchestrating the chaos in this post-apocalyptic setting.
