About
Hidden Folks is an indie adventure game created by Adriaan de Jongh and Sylvain Tegroeg, released on February 14, 2017. This single-player title lets players search for hidden folks in hand-drawn, interactive, miniature landscapes. The gameplay involves unfurling tent flaps, cutting through bushes, slamming doors, and poking crocodiles. Players can interact with over 500 unique elements while exploring the world. The game includes a strip of targets that indicate what to look for in each area. Clicking on a target provides a hint to help locate enough items to unlock the next section. There are 32 hand-drawn areas to explore, containing more than 300 targets to find. The experience features over 2000 mouth-originated sound effects throughout the journey. You can switch between three color modes: normal, sepia, and night mode. The game supports 22 languages that were translated by the community. It offers a main story length of about 3 hours, with extras extending playtime to roughly 5 hours. Completing all content takes around 7 hours. Additional features include Steam Cloud integration, 8 achievements, and 8 Steam trading cards. If you need help, you can email game designer Adriaan de Jongh at support@hiddenfolks.com.
