About
Jet Lancer is an action indie shooter developed by Vladimir Fedyushkin and Nicolai Danielsen and published by Armor Games Studios. The game was released on May 11, 2020, and features a single-player campaign where players control Ash Leguinn, a mercenary pilot and flight-school dropout. You will engage in high-velocity aerial combat to duel enemy aviators and hunt giant robots while moving at supersonic speeds. The narrative takes place as mechanized weapons converge on Root City, requiring you to survive and surpass your limits to save the world. The main story lasts approximately six hours, with additional content extending playtime to fifteen hours for a total experience. Completing all objectives, including thirty missions and eleven bosses, can take up to seventeen hours depending on your progress. The game is designed to be easy to learn but hard to master through precise and responsive controls that allow you to dodge enemy fire without taking damage. You can customize your loadout with twenty-eight different guns, payloads, and flight components to dominate the skies in any style you prefer. A New Game Plus mode offers a fresh experience by introducing more relentless AI, new attack patterns, and upgraded systems for the LANCE aircraft. Accessibility options are available, including anti-fatigue control toggles, adjustable dodge windows, an invincibility option, and settings to disable screenshake or screen flashing. The soundtrack is composed by Fat Bard, a duo that creates music and audio for the title. A talking cat named Lem also appears within the game world.
