About
Meg's Monster is an indie RPG and adventure title published and developed by Odencat, released on March 2, 2023. The single-player experience places players in control of Roy, a hulking ogre living in the Underworld with monsters who typically eat humans for breakfast. Unlike his kind, Roy has no interest in consuming people and instead befriends Golan to help a lost little girl named Meg find her way home. The core mechanic revolves around protecting Meg from crying, as her tears trigger a blood-red sky and cause the earth to tremble, threatening an apocalypse. Players must guide Roy and Golan to locate Meg's mother so she can return safely without causing global destruction. This short, story-driven JRPG features a significant twist and offers a main story that takes approximately four hours to complete. Those seeking extra content can spend around five hours total, while a completionist playthrough also requires about five hours.
