It supports both single-player and multi-player modes for different types of gameplay sessions. The title was released on June 13, 2024, and is fully voiced in Japanese and English. A new museum mode allows players to listen to music and view concept art to explore the world further. For bundle products like the Monster Hunter Stories Collection or Deluxe Collection, limited bonuses are available to purchasers who buy by 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 31st, 2024.

I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed my more than 50 hours with Monster Hunter Stories so far. It effectively eliminates the oh-so-common boring RPG grind, implements a novel turn-based battle system, and sincerely surprises me with seemingly limitless customizability. Though wrapped in a pleasant, sugary coating, Monster Hunter Stories did all of this while retaining the spirit of the Monster Hunter world with some small yet enjoyable nods to fans. I can't wait to dive back into the endgame and hatch myself a Kirin.

A solid if not earth-shattering turn-based take on the Monster Hunter world, tapping into aspects that make the Final Fantasy and Pokémon franchises enjoyable
