About
Nine Sols is an indie action-adventure game. It features single-player gameplay and was developed by RedCandleGames, who also published it. The game will be released on May 28, 2024. Nine Sols is a hand-drawn 2D action-platformer with combat inspired by Sekiro. Players will explore the land of New Kunlun, which was once home to an ancient alien race. The story follows a vengeful hero named Yi who must defeat the 9 Sols, formidable rulers of this forsaken realm. Yi awakens in New Kunlun, a sanctuary that has remained quiet for centuries. The ancient gods left behind a promised land protected by sacred rituals. However, most people are unaware of the truth about this world. When Yi is awakened by a human child, everything changes.

A masterful metroidvania that builds on Sekiro-style combat and tells a great sci-fi story too. Unmissable.
