Roguebook is an indie tactical RPG and strategy card game published by Nacon and developed by Abrakam Entertainment SA. The title was released on June 16, 2021, and offers a single-player experience with controller support. This adventure features unique mechanics created in partnership with Richard Garfield, the designer of Magic: The Gathering. Players build a team consisting of two heroes to defeat the legends found within the game world. The narrative takes place inside the Book of Lore from Faeria, where each page presents a new challenge for the player to overcome. You are trapped within this magical book that has developed its own wicked free will after being lost in a well. The story draws upon fabulous adventures previously recounted in Faeria – Chronicles of Gagana before the relic was discovered. Your goal is to lead your chosen heroes to victory by utilizing powerful combos and synergies between cards, relics, and abilities. The game offers six hero pairs to choose from at the start of each session. Each selected hero comes with a collection of over 50 cards along with a personal relic and unique traits. The main story content requires approximately eight hours to complete if you focus solely on the primary objectives. Adding extra content extends the main experience to about thirty hours for those who wish to explore more. A completionist approach to playing through all available content can take up to 106 hours to finish.
