About
SkateBIRD is a single-player title developed and published by Glass Bottom Games, released on September 16, 2021. The game falls within the sports, racing, indie, and simulation genres. Players control a lonely little bird whose Big Friend has stopped playing with them due to a bad job. The core gameplay involves grinding on bendy straws and kickflipping over staplers in parks made of cardboard and sticky tape. You can explore numerous bird-sized parks using simple controls that feel familiar to any pro skating tiny hawk. As you skate more, you will make friends who help you find additional parks and assist in fixing your Big Friend's life. The main story takes about five hours to complete, while the main story plus extras extends to seven hours. A completionist playthrough requires approximately eight hours. You can also find fancy clothing, secret mixtapes of new music, and other birds that need your help during these sessions.

Skatebird is a cute and original arcade skating game supported by great music, but the skating itself is crude, the objectives are boring, and the camera is a regular hassle.
