Subnautica: Below Zero is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean world. It is a new chapter in the Subnautica universe and is developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The game is set two years after the original Subnautica and takes place on planet 4546B. Players return to this planet to investigate what happened to their sister.
The player arrives with limited resources and must improvise to survive. They will explore an arctic region of Planet 4546B, uncovering abandoned research stations and piecing together the truth about a mysterious incident. Logs, items, and databanks scattered among the debris provide clues about what happened to the scientists who lived and worked there. Players can also discover uncharted biomes beneath the blue-lit, arching expanses of this alien world.
