The package features modern graphics and controls alongside an armory where unlockable weapons are available for use. A gallery documents encountered enemies and bosses, while achievements track progress throughout the experience. Multiple endings await those who explore the full scope of the game. A photomode is included for capturing moments within the action-filled environments.

The House of the Dead: Remake can be an enjoyable return to the classic arcade rail shooter, but performance hiccups and frustrating controls are scarier enemies than the zombies themselves.
