About
The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is a turn-based strategy RPG published by NIS America, Inc. and developed by Nihon Falcom Corporation and PH3 GmbH. This single-player title was released on March 13, 2023, and continues the story of aspiring hero Lloyd Bannings set just months after Trails from Zero. A temporary peace has settled over Crossbell following the previous events, granting the Special Support Section newfound fame for their heroic actions. New members join the team as they take on fresh duties within the Special Support Section. Rising tensions in Crossbell and pressure from two neighboring political powers threaten both the safety of their home and the integrity of their group. The narrative involves multiple organizations with ulterior motives that disrupt the recent calm while framing these growing tensions. External pressure from the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard plays a significant role in the unfolding plot. The main story takes approximately 45 hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to 68 hours. Players aiming for completion can expect to spend around 102 hours with the game. The Special Support Section faces oncoming threats to Crossbell's political stability while trying to maintain their team's foundation.
