About
The Ramp is an indie sports and simulation title developed by Paul Schnepf and published by hyperparadise. Released on August 3, 2021, this casual game focuses entirely on single-player skateboarding experiences. The developer describes the project as a digital toy designed specifically for skateboard enthusiasts who crave pure flow. Players can shred through a halfpipe without encountering missions, unlockables, or score systems. The gameplay avoids guns, explosions, and helicopters to maintain a clean experience that is easy to learn but hard to master. While keyboard input is supported, the game functions best when played with a controller. The total playtime for main content plus extras is approximately one hour, with a completionist length also totaling one hour. This concise scope reflects the developer's intent to create a small project meant to scratch a very specific itch. The title captures the feeling of real-life vert skateboarding without adding extra fluff or unnecessary features.Read moreShow less
