About
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is an action comedy developed by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE INC. and published by XSEED Games, Marvelous USA, Inc., and Marvelous. The game was released on June 9, 2021, offering a single-player experience set in the United Assassins Association. Players can choose from three playable characters to face various foes in this HD title. The narrative follows Travis Touchdown, who drops from rank #1 to #51 after resting for three years. His decline is complicated by Skelter Helter, an assassin seeking revenge for his brother's death. Travis responds with a beam katana driven by vengeance and greed to resolve the conflict. The gameplay involves frenetic hack-and-slash combat where players can dual-wield beam katanas. Combat options include playing as Shinobu for agility or Henry to leave enemies behind. The game features larger enemies and includes 8-bit minigames that allow players to earn money and power up. Completing the main story takes about eight hours, while extras extend playtime to ten hours. A full completionist run requires approximately fourteen hours of gameplay.
