About
One Way Heroics is an indie RPG developed by Smoking WOLF and published by PLAYISM, released on February 28, 2014. The single-player experience places you as an adventurer traveling across a land to confront the Demon Lord before darkness consumes everything. In this procedurally generated journey, a mysterious shadow approaches from the left side of the screen with every action you take. You are forced to move right while encountering monsters, allies, thieves, and shops along the way. The game offers access to multiple worlds that provide a nearly infinite number of environments to save and explore. Players can unlock various classes, each offering different skills and advantages for their journey. A feature called Dimensional Vault allows you to lock away valuables in your inventory for use in future runs. Time control mechanics are also available to assist when challenges become difficult. The main story takes approximately two hours to complete, while the full experience including extras extends to about twenty-three hours. Completing all content requires roughly thirty-five hours of playtime.
