About
Outpost: Infinity Siege is an action and strategy title published by Lightning Games and developed by Team Ranger. The game was released on March 26, 2024. Players can choose to explore single-player modes or engage in multiplayer experiences. Co-op play allows friends to fight together during Recovery Day events. The core gameplay involves commanding a mobile outpost while utilizing the XEN Firearm. Users must venture into the Signet surveillance off-limit area to collect unique Weapon Units. Upgrading these units strengthens the outpost as it fights alongside the player. The experience combines elements of first-person shooting, tower defense, and base building. Exploration mechanics let players gather resources and merge units to expand their base. Different protoslag attributes on the XEN Firearm provide varied performance characteristics for ammunition. Abundant difficulty levels offer diverse gameplay features across distinctive maps. New zones present hazards and opportunities for harvesting powerful outpost units. Survival modes include Endless challenges where groups face infinite waves of monsters. The game supports both solo adventures and cooperative campaigns with friends. Resource management is essential for building and maintaining the mobile outpost structure.
