About
Parkasaurus is a strategy and simulation title developed and published by Washbear Studio, released on August 12, 2020. This single-player experience lets players manage a dinosaur theme park by constructing exhibits and researching technologies to increase profits. The core loop involves caring for dinosaurs while deciding whether to prioritize their development or the needs of guests. Players can build over 80 different items using four types of employees to create the ultimate Dino Park. Success in exhibit design depends on creating unique biospheres that account for shape, materials, ecology, plants, elevation, and humidity. The game includes specific privacy and biome systems to encourage creative design choices throughout the park. The simulation allows users to nurture dinosaurs from a small egg until they reach their full adult size. A main story run takes approximately 19 hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to about 23 hours. Completing all aspects of the game requires roughly 69 hours of gameplay.
