About
In Afterparty, developed and published by Night School Studio, you play as Milo and Lola, two best friends who have died and are facing eternity in Hell. The core objective is to outdrink Satan to earn a chance at returning to Earth. This title falls under the Indie, Adventure, Puzzle, and Casual genres and was released on October 22, 2020. The gameplay centers on controlling Milo and Lola through an intelligent conversation system that alters the story and relationships based on every decision made. You will uncover their personality quirks and foggy history while navigating wild events throughout the night. Every step is up to you as you stumble through the underworld via an interconnected network of islands linked by the River Styx. A variety of over 30 libations are available, each one changing your dialogue choices and personality traits. The experience includes a large cast of characters with their own unique problems, alongside demonic activities like beer pong, dance-offs, and chugging competitions. You can interact with voiced performances from Janina Gavankar as Lola, Khoi Dao as Milo, Ashly Burch as Sam, Erin Yvette as Wormhorn, and Dave Fennoy as Satan. The game features an original soundtrack by scntfc, the composer known for work on Oxenfree. The main story takes approximately 6 hours to complete, while including extras extends that time to about 7 hours. A completionist playthrough requires roughly 14 hours of gameplay.Read moreShow less

Afterparty Critic Reviews and Review Scores
The top-notch writing and superb voice acting, coupled with the visually vibrant hellscape, keeps your interest from start to finish.
Night School's Oxenfree is a charming, hilarious, and insightful comedy that makes Hell a pretty fun place to be.
Night School Studios follows on its excellent work in Oxenfree with this touching look at the absurdity of life and video games.
The premise may seem silly and lighthearted, but Afterparty goes well beyond drinking games into something more meaningful
Afterparty isn't the most groundbreaking work about hell or its denizens, but it zeroes in on its characters' personal demons with a sobering clarity that makes for an adventure with a sharp, biting wit.
