About
Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is an action RPG published by tinyBuild and developed by Acme Gamestudio, released on October 10, 2022. Players can explore interconnected maps filled with places to discover in this high fantasy setting. The game offers single-player gameplay with controller support for those who prefer using a gamepad. You take on the role of Hilda, a young warrior from the Northwind Legion seeking to save her lost father within a cursed city. Her journey involves piecing together the history of Aphes through conversations, found documents, cinematics, and entries in her own diary. Every decision made during this adventure influences the story and determines the fate of the city-state. The combat system blends soulslike elements with a dynamic approach that balances difficulty and exploration. Fighters can equip two different weapon types simultaneously to create unpredictable strategies in battle. Available options include swords, shields, dual blades, spears, hammers, staffs, or magic bracelets for both melee and ranged engagements. Combatants will face more than 60 distinct monsters and encounter 22 bosses throughout the main story and side quests. Each boss presents unique battle mechanics that require adaptation during fights. The environment ranges from mist-covered bazaar streets to gloomy sewers, enigmatic forests, and deep chasms containing glittering crystals. Beyond the main narrative, players can find over 100 collectibles and complete numerous optional side quests to extend their experience. Those seeking a longer challenge can build on their legacy through the New Game+ mode. The main story takes approximately 19 hours to finish, while including extras extends playtime to about 32 hours. A completionist run requires around 55 hours to fully explore all content.
