About
Cat Quest is an indie action RPG and adventure title developed by The Gentlebros and published by Kepler Interactive. Released on August 8, 2017, this single-player game features controller support for a casual experience. Players jump into a fantasy world centered around cats where they pursue the villain Drakoth and rescue their missing sister. The main story takes about six hours to complete, while adding extras extends playtime to eight hours. A completionist run requires approximately eleven hours of gameplay. The setting includes Felingard, an open world map filled with dungeons for loot and various side quests. Combat occurs in real time, letting players slash enemies, dodge rolls, and use magic spells like Lightnyan, Flamepurr, and Healpaw. Equipment customization allows users to mix weapons, armor, and spells such as arcane hoods or chainmail to suit their playstyle. The world contains locations like Bermewda's Triangle, the Furbidden Fields, and Pawt City for exploration. Visitors can assist mages named Mewlin and Meowgan in breaking a magic seal or find missing deliveries from House of Parchments and The Pouncing Dead. One area features a possessed town where residents desire large amounts of meat. The soundtrack provides an orchestral score inspired by classic role-playing games.
