Clicker Heroes is an indie adventure RPG and strategy simulation developed and published by Playsaurus. The game was released on May 13, 2015, and offers a single-player experience. Players begin their journey by clicking on monsters to defeat them and collect gold. This gold is then spent to hire new heroes who increase the total damage output. As damage rises, the amount of gold earned also increases exponentially. The game features thirty-five unique heroes available for hire to assist in dealing damage without manual clicking. Among these are legendary figures from myth and legend such as Athena, Amenhotep, King Midas, and others. Each hero requires a cost to acquire and contributes significantly more damage per second than typical MMO characters. Players can spend their loot on upgrades to grant heroes special powers that aid in earning even more gold.
