About
Dungeons 2 is a strategy and simulation game published by Kalypso Media Digital and developed by Realmforge Studios. It was released on April 23, 2015, and includes the "A Clash of Pumpkins" DLC in its package. The title supports both single-player and multi-player modes for up to four players via LAN or online connections. Players can choose between two playable factions within the game's campaign story mode. The gameplay involves managing dungeons in the underworld while also waging war on human cities above ground. You will recruit fearsome creatures and use the Hand of Terror to issue direct commands to your minions. The experience features dark humor peppered with references to various fantasy books, movies, and TV shows. Defending your Kingdom against heroes is a core part of the tactical real-time strategy elements found in the overworld. The main story length is approximately 15 hours, while completing all content takes about 28 hours. Including extra content extends the playtime to roughly 21 hours when combining the main narrative with additional extras. The Halloween-inspired DLC introduces new horrors such as trigger-happy pumpkins and murderous penguins across three specific skirmish maps. These maps include Scare Island, Ghostwood, and Regecide for players seeking new challenges in their campaign.

Dungeons 2 Critic Reviews and Review Scores
EurogamerDan Whitehead
As a follow-up to 2011's Dungeons, this sequel is much easier to recommend, fixing many of the problems from that game and introducing new ideas that fit better with the genre. It's still only a partial success, however, and between the fussy menus and interface, and the speed with which you'll find yourself resorting to trudging repetition, this still falls short of the game it could be.

Some issues keep it from being a stand-alone great, but fans longing for a reboot of Dungeon Keeper could do a lot worse than this clever, enjoyable dungeon manager.
IGNRowan Kaiser

Dungeons 2 tries to revitalize dungeon management games...and falls on its face in the process.
Game InformerDaniel Tack
8
An effort that will please long-time Dungeon Keeper fans, with additional longevity provided by a variety of multiplayer modes
GameSpotLeif Johnson
6
Dungeons 2 is a decent mashup of Dungeon Keeper and real-time strategy conventions, but oversimplification keeps it from being a keeper.
