About
Everything is an interactive experience developed and published by David OReilly through PLAYISM in Japan, released on April 21, 2017. This indie title falls within the open world, RPG, casual, and simulation genres while offering a single-player mode. The game functions as a procedural, AI-driven simulation that models the systems of nature from the perspectives of various entities across the universe. Players can travel between outer and inner space to explore a vast collection of objects without facing enforced goals, scores, or mandatory tasks. The experience allows users to transform themselves to create nested worlds or step back to let the simulation generate a continuous documentary of their surroundings. Narration is provided by the philosophical insights of Alan Watts, accompanied by an original score composed by Ben Lukas Boysen. The main story takes approximately three hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to around six hours. For those aiming for full completion, the total length reaches fifteen hours.
