About
Farlands is an indie RPG and simulation title published by JanduSoft and Anotherindie, developed by JanduSoft and Eric Rodríguez. The game was released on July 24, 2024, and offers a single-player experience for players seeking a change of pace. You begin with the opportunity to purchase your own planet, described as an agrarian rock located at the edge of the galaxy. This setting allows you to leave behind a hectic life in an overcrowded metropolis for a more rural environment. Your primary goal involves restoring this abandoned world that has been lying untouched for years. With only a worn-out ship and a personal assistance droid, you must clear weeds, cut paths, and reclaim fields to fix the damage caused by time. The gameplay focuses on turning this old rock into a thriving homestead through careful management and resource gathering. You can also use your ship to move between different planets within the solar system to explore new areas. Exploration allows you to collect resources necessary to improve your farm, upgrade your tools, and enhance your vessel. Additionally, the game encourages interaction with the community by making contact with various entities in the region. This title provides a casual simulation where you build a life in a lost corner of the galaxy using basic equipment.
