About
Greak: Memories of Azur is an indie action RPG and adventure platformer published by Team17 Digital LTD. The game was released on August 16, 2021, and is developed by Navegante Entertainment. It features single-player gameplay with controller support for players to navigate the story. The narrative follows three siblings named Greak, Adara, and Raydel as they guide them through the lands of Azur. Players will alternate control between these characters to utilize their unique abilities during the escape from the Urlag invasion. The main character, Greak, is the smallest brother of three and belongs to a magical race called the Courines. These Courines are currently under attack by an enemy faction known as the Urlags after a battle that has lasted for hundreds of years. As the conflict continues, the Courines begin to flee their own lands while a plague of strange creatures infects the area. Greak aims to reunite with his brother Raydel and sister Adara before building an airship piece by piece to leave Azur. Throughout the adventure, players will find each sibling in different scenarios where they join the journey to help progress. The game includes hand-drawn art and animation that presents colorful and expressive scenarios alongside a story about family and union. Players can solve specially crafted puzzles to collect missing pieces of an airship through an interconnected world. Combat is fast-paced as players discover new areas and fight against a wide variety of enemies to rescue the Courines. The experience includes beautiful hand-drawn cinematic clips that accompany key story moments within the game. An expressive and atmospheric music theme serves as a live orchestra soundtrack for the unique adventure. The main story takes approximately seven hours to complete, while including extras extends the playtime to eight hours. A completionist run of the game requires about ten hours to finish all available content.
