Players can enjoy the game in single-player mode and it supports controller input. The game allows you to take on the role of a renovation crew. You can buy, repair, and remodel houses that are in need of work. The goal is to give these houses a second life and sell them for a profit. You start by taking jobs from residents who need help with tasks like cleaning, painting, installing appliances, or furnishing their homes. Once you earn enough money, you can purchase your own property. You will then need to renovate the house yourself, removing debris and making changes to meet the requirements of potential buyers or create a space for your business. The main story in House Flipper takes approximately 12 hours to complete. If you include all the extra content, it will take around 28 hours. A completionist playthrough, where you aim to achieve everything in the game, can take up to 40 hours.
