About
JellyCar Worlds is a racing, action, and simulation title published and developed by Walaber that was released on December 8, 2022. The game features single-player and co-op modes alongside multi-player options for various gameplay sessions. Players navigate through eight distinct worlds, each presenting its own specific theme and set of mechanics. Every level includes a secret exit to locate and offers multiple optional challenges to complete. The core experience relies on tactile soft-body physics where both the car and the environment are made of jelly. Abilities such as growing, inflating like a balloon, using sticky tires, or activating a rocket allow players to manipulate these squishy elements. The design encourages imaginative driving and platforming within this playful setting. Customization is available through an in-game paint tool that lets users draw their own car designs. Users can also record personal sound effects to replace the default audio in the game. A fully-featured level editor is included, enabling players to create their own squishy playgrounds for others to explore. The title also restores classic levels from earlier entries in the JellyCar series for those interested in returning content. The main story length is approximately four hours, while completionist playthroughs can extend up to twenty-one hours. Additional content beyond the main story does not add significant time to the total play duration.
